Two Hour Holiday
The Two Hour Holiday is a mixture of relaxation and sensory stimulation that helps to reduce feelings of stress and help people to unwind from the daily grind. It is the vision of Patrick and Judy who wanted to offer a simple and fun way to increase levels of happiness and wellbeing without ‘guests’ having to take time off, travel far or spend too much.
The Two Hour Holiday was initially developed as a workshop for part of business training days and Happening Weekends inspirational weekend breaks and it has evolved into a two hour event of participative entertainment and relaxation.

Patrick says: ‘The Two Hour Holiday is about relaxation, the most affordable luxury. In these uncertain times it is important to give yourself quality relaxation time to keep in good health and to think clearly. A holiday is often the best way to do this, but taking two weeks off can be difficult. A Two Hour Holiday session condenses this quality relaxation into two hours. The more relaxed you are, the greater your ability to remember happy memories and be comfortable of what is around us. Using props such as fruit, cake, pebbles, flowers, herbs music and candlelight a happy memory can be triggered simply by smell and touch. The sessions are light, fun and very, very relaxing’.
The ultimate ‘mini’ break uses people’s imaginations to help recreate holiday memories and feelings through story telling and triggering positive memories. It uses hypnotherapy roots to incorporate words designed to trigger confidence and positive feelings, mindfulness techniques of guided visualisation to help people to unwind and simple yet extremely effective props to trigger positive memories.
What our Two Hour Holiday guests have said;
‘ A brilliant alternative to a Friday night out. Beats 6 G&Ts and a hangover any day!’ – Lucy
‘… I was surprised by how quickly I was able to relax, particularly after a very stressful week at work- the smells, sounds, atmosphere and techniques really did the trick in emulating the chilled out holiday vibe’ – Anna
