The Happening Experience – 30 January – 2 February 2010, North Devon
Guests are invited to join the experience from 4pm on Friday 30th January until 11am on Monday 2nd February.
Three night stay in fantastic North Devon surroundings, staying at the beautiful Newhouse Farm with a range of inspirational activities.
Our talented chef Steve will ensure local and organic catering and invite you into the kitchen to create culinary sensations.
Our team will be offering different activities to get you smiling from head to toe.
What’s Happening?
The weekend event is set in the heart of Devon at a fantastic contemporary venue with a heated indoor pool, space for walking, indoor space for workshops, a football field, games room and lake.
Organised activities are run by our team of experienced trainers and artists with backgrounds in physical training, coaching and team building and relaxation. Relaxation and exercise classes combine elements of yoga, martial arts, Qi Gong and psychology.
Our chef is an expert at chocolate model making and will be running an indulgent cookery session with a bit of cookery competition!
For those of you on a health drive for the new year you can enjoy long walks a work out with our resident fitness trainer and a confidence boosting cabaret communications class.
From £395 you will enjoy a three night stay in fabulous surroundings with expert catering and different activities to get you smiling from head to toe.
A choice of activities take place every morning and afternoon, and sometimes activities extend into the evening. During the weekend we take a group out to go quad biking* or horse riding* or you can stay behind and enjoy a relaxing treatment or ‘massage for the mind’. Saturday evening you have the evening to yourselves to explore local villages and restaurants. We always reserve a booking at a lovely local pub for anyone who wants to join us (which often is everyone and creates a relaxed party atmosphere!).

Rolling hills, hidden woodlands, river valleys and spectacular scenery, The Happening Experience gives you a chance to explore this enchanting, often forgotten, region of Devon and take part in activities to help make your new year really Happen.
Facilities
In addition to the planned activities, the following facilities are available for your use at any time. Indoor heated pool open 9am to 9pm, fields, river and lake to explore, golf practice area, football field, games room with table tennis, pool and football tables (50 p coin per game).
Where you stay
The weekend break price is based on double, single or shared twin room accommodation in the main country house barn conversion or one of the large cottages. Footpaths meander steeply down to the river and to the lake beyond, offering quiet corners to relax and find your inner peace away from the other guests.
There are a limited number of ensuite rooms, so book now to reserve your place. The beautiful home has non-ensuite rooms with a shared bathroom, shared with a maximum of five other people.
There are a number of exclusive smaller cottages for a more secluded stay and cottages available for group bookings.

Price includes three night stay, all on site activities including use of indoor heated pool. Friday night dinner, continental breakfast every day, lunch on Saturday and celebration meal on Sunday and Monday breakfast.
Price excludes: Saturday night dinner and any treatments which can be added to your package reiki, hypnotherapy, personal trainer session. Fee for pool table and table-football (50p coin per game).
